It’s been disheartening the amount of reading that I’ve not been doing. The busyness of December and the New Year have pulled me away from priorities. I’ve realized that I do much better reading one book than five (which is what I was trying to do).
Since the end of October, I’ve enjoyed reading through the Chronicles of Narnia with my boys. “Off to Narnia,” is our call to the couch where we’ve enjoyed so many fine hours together. We are on Chapter 4 of book 3, The Horse and His Boy (Shasta and Aravis are about to enter the city). The series is becoming more and more momentus to me every week.
I only list the books as I finish, but here’s what I’ve been reading.
I was just browsing the internet and stumbled upon this. I just thought you might like to know that my dad started reading me the narnian series when I was only a few days old and I STILL reread all of the books from time to time. Whenever I am sad or scared I grab either my bible or a narnia book (usualy The Last Battle.) They are the best books ever and I hope that they streangthen your children’s faiths (and your own) as much as they have mine.
