True, this is one of the most stirring speeches, but this actor does not do it justice. He speaks it in what I call “Shakespearese”. He is a little off in which words he emphasizes and how he phrases – like he is saying the words but has no idea what they mean. It is much easier (dare I say easy?) to understand Shakespeare when it is performed correctly. In my limited experience, famous companies do not always do a good job.
I confess my woeful ignorance to Shakespeare. However, this motivates me to explore this book!
