Thoughtful Presidential read with a historical ending.
Every aspect of this man’s presidency could be seen as nothing short of disastrous. Things were good for most, until he showed up. Things were generally calm and peaceful. Most Americans were comfortable, safe and feasting at the table of a robust economy. By the time he left, we were war-torn, uncertain and trying to make sense of an economy in shambles. Our roads and bridges were in horrible shape and our country’s infrastructure was in complete disrepair. Our currency had been severely de-valued, we were in crippling debt and our standing in the world was damaged.
It is a widely held belief that the election of Barack Obama was a direct result of this man’s controversial policies, his stubbornness and unwillingness to compromise his “principles”. In fact, some say without this man, Mr. Obama would never have even had a chance at the presidency at all.
I get strange looks, on occasion, for saying that I admire this man…
