Walked past some beautiful lilacs today and thought of our time together 2 summers ago. Great memories.

Ryan, we have three mature lilac bushes behind our house. I have one just outside my office window. I thought of you the other day when I rested a moment to ponder a thought from my Bible studies. I sat at my window a while and watched the wind play with the blossoms.

Lilacs always remind me of my Grandma Homan. She had several lilac bushes in her yard, and she loved them. During her final week with us here on earth (May 2004), we brought some lilacs in the house to her, so she could enjoy them. Sweet memories.
